Hi! Welcome to my portfolio! I am so glad you have made it here to view my work. My name is Maddalena, and I am a sports and portrait-based photographer located in Northwest Georgia.
My heart as an artist began through painting in my early years in school, and I later found a deep passion for photography while in my high school years, and have been fully immersed in it to date. I graduated from Shorter University with a BBA degree in Marketing. While in college, I spent three and a half years as Director of Creative Media for Shorter University Football, an NCAA DII program, covering all things media and digital marketing throughout each year. I also served as Media Day Coordinator for Shorter Athletics, where I got to plan, schedule, and capture different sports teams on campus.
After college, I spent my first season in Minor League Baseball with the Rome Emperors, Atlanta Braves High-A affiliate as a team photographer, where I got to cover the ins-and-outs of game days within the stadium. I spent my second season in MiLB with the Gwinnett Stripers, Atlanta Braves Triple-A affiliate, as a Creative Services Intern, where I got to go more in-depth with behind the scenes of producing a baseball game, promotion planning, and documenting and covering games on social media platforms throughout the season.
I am currently on staff with Major League Baseball as a MiLB Live Content Creator, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, covering all things for the Chattanooga Lookouts and opponents they face throughout the season.
I plan to keep pursuing art for the rest of my life!
Every photograph I take is poured into with passion, and a piece of myself goes along with every one of these shots. Getting to be a small part in documenting important moments in friends lives and an organization's highlights are what fire my motivation in photography and artistry. I am always searching for the raw moments in everyday life, and I view every shoot as an opportunity to capture those precious moments and share them with the world.
Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get connected!
